You Can't Get A Job Without Experience. You Can't Get Experience Without A Job.
The purpose of an internship is to provide an opportunity for students to gain experience in fields they already have interest. The experience obtained should be one that strengthens areas where the intern is lacking in skills, knowledge, and experience. Any position will allow an intern to gain "meaningful" experience that can also strengthen their resume. A student planning to prepare for a permanent job in the workforce should combine their academic achievements with community service, extra-curriculum activities, student organizations, and internships.
